
INGREDIENTS
- 1 little head of red cabbage (very finely cut)
- 3 green onions
- 1 cup cooked almonds (roughly cut)
- 1 orange, peeled and sliced
- 1/3 cup loosely packed cilantro
- 3 medium carrots grated
- 4 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 clove garlic (diced or pressed)
- 1/2 inch piece of ginger (diced or pushed)
- 1½ tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine thinly cut red cabbage as well as grated carrots in a big bowl.
- In a jar with a lid, combine vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Shake until the sugar is dissolved.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage as well as throw thoroughly to coat. Top with chopped environment-friendly onions, toasted almonds, orange pieces as well as cilantro.
